Policy on Mandatory Ethical Approval for Research Involving Humans, Animals, Their Biological Materials, or Personal and Confidential Data
General Principles
The scientific and production journal “Avtoshlyahovyk Ukrainy” adheres to the highest standards of publishing ethics in its activities and is guided by the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE – https://publicationethics.org). All participants in the publishing process – authors, reviewers, editors – are equally responsible for compliance with ethical standards.
Research Involving Human Participants
For studies involving the participation of people (technical experiments, questionnaires, interviews, observations of road users, etc.), authors are obliged to:
• confirm receipt of informed consent from all study participants or their legal representatives (for minors).
Protection of Data
For studies using personal data – the authors confirm compliance with the requirements of the current legislation on the protection of personal data.
For research using confidential data, in particular the possibility of disseminating secret information covering information in the field of defense, economics, science and technology, etc. – the authors confirm compliance with the requirements of current legislation, the Law of Ukraine “On State Secrets”. At the editorial office request, they provide an opinion of a specialized committee or commission at an educational institution or institution with permission to publish the data used in the article.
