DIRECTIONS FOR DEVELOPING UKRAINE’S TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT WORLD EXPERIENCE DOI: 10.33868/0365-8392-2025-4-281-23-35
Abstract. The transportation infrastructure of Ukraine is one of the most important branches of the country’s national economy. In conditions of russian full-scale aggression, the auto transport complex plays one of the key roles in ensuring the country’s defense capability and preserving its export potential. The article summarizes the global experience of the development of transport infrastructure in the countries of Europe and the world in relation to the motor transport complex. The state of the road transport infrastructure and directions of its development were analyzed taking into account the “National Transport Strategy of Ukraine for the period until 2030” and “Sustainable Logistics Strategу for Ukraine until 2030”. Ukraine has at its disposal a powerful auto transport infrastructure, which includes rail, sea, river, road, air and pipeline transport. Favorable geographical location of Ukraine provides the possibility and necessity of creating numerous transport corridors. This situation takes on special importance in the context of the intensification of external relations between European countries, as well as between the countries of Europe and Asia. Integration with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, manifested in the development of relevant transport corridors, attracts Ukraine to participate in international integration and development projects. Comprehensive measures have been defined, the implementation of which will make the motor transport system, as an integral component of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine, an indicator of the country’s investment attractiveness and economic development, the basis of international economic cooperation.
