The level of saturation by automobile equipment of regional and urban settlements and the number of accidents

Abstract. In order to determine the impact of motorization growth on the number of accidents, it is proposed to assess the level of motorization of the population not because of the number of cars, but because of the total number of all automobile equipment per 1000 inhabitants. The results of studies, such as the Lviv region and the city Lviv, do not support previous assumptions about such an impact.
